We had an incredible time working with Nils van Son on a luxury aerial photoshoot with Heli Rio over Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Picture this: the doors off, the wind in your hair, and Rio’s most famous landmarks Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, Ipanema & Copacabana beaches all unfolding beneath as you fly.
Nils showed fearless creativity, calm focus, and an artist’s eye while navigating challenging angles and lighting. The final images? Absolutely breathtaking vivid, dramatic, alive with the character of Rio and the adventure of the flight itself.
It was a privilege to have him on board, and we’d jump at the chance to fly together again.
